When I was ONE, I had only just begun...

That is right - I am now a ONE year old. This time last year, I was just a little wee baby. Now I am a big boy. I weigh 10.78 kg (about 27lbs for you old school people), and I am 75cm long.
To celebrate my birthday I had a Sesame St party. It was loads of fun, as lots of my friends came to play with me, and my mummy let me eat cake!! My godmummy Suzy made a really cool Elmo cake. It had lots of bright colours on it - have a look at the pictures. After everyone had sung Happy Birthday, Mummy helped me cut the cake, then we all ate it - yum yum. Lots of people got funny coloured tongues from the icing. I just got icing all over my face, up my arms, in my hair...
It was a very warm day for my party, so we were able to play outside in the sunshine. I was very lucky as I got lots of great presents. Thankyou to everyone who gave me pressies, and sent cards, e-mails, and text messages wishing me a happy birthday - it was a fantastic day.

I have discovered that if I hang my legs out of my cot, I can bang them on the base, and it makes a REALLY LOUD noise! hehehe. Who said nap times were for sleeping? And what am I doing having a nap with my shoes on Ma??
